    Dodger blue and a red No. 32. The image couldn't be clearer. Sandy Koufax. One of the greatest left-handed pitchers in baseball history. Although the first 6 years of his career were rather ordinary, the last 6 were sensational.
How sensational? From 1961 through 1966, Koufax notched 129 wins against only 47 losses for a winning percentage of .733. In that span he led the National League in wins 3 times, in ERA 5 times, in strikeouts 4 times and in shutouts 3 times. Toss in no-hitters in 1962, '63 and '64, a perfect game in '65, and a then-record 15-strikeout performance in the 1963 World Series and Koufax' accomplishments advance from awesome to legendary.
