    In 1999, ToppsŪ and Bill Goff Inc artists joined creative forces and recreated the style of the 1953 baseball cards. Overall, 19 current stars were depicted in the heralded series with eight of the images developed into lithographs.
As a rookie of the year in 1987, Mark McGwire hit a rookie record 49 homers and was member of the Oakland A's™ "Bash Brothers." In 1998, McGwire blasted 70 homers as a St. Louis CardinalŪ, passed Roger Maris with ease, and became the single season home run king. Might the future hold even more records?
