It all began on April 17, 1968, when colorful and controversial owner Charles O Finley's Athletics played their first home game in the Bay Area. Since then, the Oakland Coliseum has provided a stage for 9 division champions, 6 AL pennant winners and 4 World Champions.
Reggie Jackson, Catfish Hunter, Rollie Fingers, Rickey Henderson and Dennis Eckersley are just a few of the outstanding players who have called the Coliseum home.
