Marlon Byrd is finally coming into his own during his first season with the Chicago Cubs. Byrd batted over .300, with 10 HR and 40+ RBI prior to the all star break, and was selected to the 2010 All Star game, his first. Byrd made the most of his playing time in the ASG, scoring a key run for the NL as well as making a huge defensive play in the 9th inning to help hold the lead and seal the victory for the NL.
