Jim Abbott was an anomaly, a pitcher best remembered for being born with just one arm. Abbott overcame adversity and hardship in his life to complete what many to consider the most amazing display by a pitcher with a physical disability. On September 4th, 1993 Abbott pitched a no-hitter against the Cleveland Indians, completing what many argue is the hardest feat in professional sports and doing so with a fundamental disability.
