Roy Halladay, already the ace of the Philadelphia Phillies pitching staff and widely considered the best pitcher in baseball, permanently secured his place in MLB lore on May 28, 2010. That's the day Halladay pitched a perfect game – 27 up and 27 down – against the Florida Marlins in a duel the Phillies won by a score of 1-0. Halladay's perfect game was only the 20th in baseball history.
