I measured myself and ordered jersey at an xl because I wanted the bust to fit so I could button it to the top. However, the jersey seemed way to large around bust and the rest of my body. Not very long but very wide. I had to sew the sides in to make it more fitted.

I have not tried on a women's jersey before, but was shocked to see velcro at the top of the jersey between letterings. I prefer to wear jersey opened at times but can't now because the velcro will be visible. Next jersey I will just buy a small mens.
