  • 2002 Anaheim Angels vs. San Francisco Giants
  • This all-California final featured the first Fall Classic match-up of two Wild Card teams and set numerous records as the Anaheim Angels captured their first World Series championship.
  • This official documentary is approximately 93 minutes and includes game highlights, interviews, and exclusive footage.
  • The first four games of the Fall Classic showcased each club's strengths and left the series knotted at two wins each. San Francisco rooters were jubilant after their 16-4 Game 5 triumph. However, the Angels would never quit. Now, down 3 games to 2, and trailing 5-0 in the bottom of the seventh inning, the Halos charged back. Scott Spiezo's 3-run, seventh-inning home run followed by an eight-inning Darin Erstad homer and Troy Glaus' 2-run double propelled the Angels to a Game 6 win.
  • The next night John Lackey became the first rookie-pitcher to start and win a Game 7 since 1909. In their first World Series appearance the Club reached the goal set at the start of their inaugural 1961 season: the Angels were World Champions!
