Product Description & Features
Mel Ott is one of the most underappreciated sluggers of all time. The first National League player to hit 500 home runs, this Hall of Famer spent 22 seasons with the New York Giants, performing as one of the most potent hitters in the National League for most of them. In 1940, Ott hit 19 home runs and was an All-Star as usual (1 of 12 consecutive seasons from 1934 to 1945).
