Al Kaline played twenty-two years with the Detroit Tigers, over the course of his brilliant career Kaline totaled 3007 hits including 200 in the 1955 season which he hit .340 and won the American League Batting Crown. A 15 time All-Star and a ten time Gold Glove Award winner Kaline played a majority of his career in right field and at first base. In 1980 Al Kaline was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame.
