On October 11, 2010, Wilson closed out game 4 of the NLDS, defeating the Atlanta Braves and sending the Giants to the NLCS. On October 23, 2010, Wilson closed out game 6 of the NLCS, which defeated the Phillies and sent the Giants to the World Series to face the Texas Rangers. On November 1, 2010, Wilson closed out game 5 of the World Series, beating the Texas Rangers for the team's sixth world championship and first in San Francisco.
